Congratulations to to one of Heliport Studios’ favourite clients, Garage band Fight Ibis. The Boys have just won the Triple J Unearthed competition, to play at the Pinapple festival competition on the Sunshine Coast. This has just been announced and play on Triple J Radio this week, and their debut single is currently #2 on the unearthed overall charts.

A neoteric 4 piece garage groove group filled with mellow gold tinged jazz, inspired hints of psyche funk and alt rock known as Fight Ibis. Bringing to you a wild yet interesting and lively night full of dancing, soul thrashing & hair tossing all brought on by a unique high energy styled performance. You won’t know if it’s the fluorescent fuzzy stoner grooves infiltrated your mind, or if it’s the swing of the warm jizzy jazz funk that takes a hold of your standing feet, lifting you off like a pollen hurricane into a fiery festival of sound.
